"Here at TipHero, we’re pretty much obsessed with enlightening you on all of the ways you can stretch your dollar.

Of course, there are plenty of things that you can do to save a buck, from downloading digital coupons to firing your contractor to cooking up super frugal food, but we tend to gravitate towards the hacks.

You know what we mean: the tutorials that teach us that pretty much any item can be used off-label— and sometimes you can save buckets of cash in the process!
When it comes to hacks, it’s no secret that apple cider vinegar and baking soda are the most versatile, but just because they get the most press doesn’t mean that other contenders shouldn’t be left out of the spotlight.

Take Clorox bleach, for instance. It may be a bit of noxious product — definitely not something you want your kiddos playing around with! — but that doesn’t mean that it’s not just as well-rounded as the other guys.

In today’s video, DIY maven Bob Vila, shows us some of the best ways we can all benefit from using this kitchen-cleaning standby. Here are a few of the most notable highlights from the clip:

1.   Get your glassware sparkling clean
What’s the point in breaking out your finest glassware for that fancy dinner party that you’re planning if it’s just going to look like a spotted, gunky mess? To fix the problem, simply add 1 teaspoon of Clorox bleach to your all-glass dishwashing load. No rubbing or scrubbing required!
2.   Become a certified weed-killer
Having trouble getting rid of those pesky weeds that grow from the cracks of your cement? Next time you find yourself on your hands-and-knees, pulling them out weed by weed, reach for your bottle of Clorox. Just a splash on the base of each weed should do!
3.   Sterilize your gardening instruments
You’re already in your garden, so why not sterilize those hoes and shovels? Believe it or not, this is actually something that all gardeners should do from time-to-time, to guarantee that no plant-based diseases spread to other parts of the garden. Smart!
4.   Say “goodbye” to slippery moss
Does the photo at the top of this post look familiar to you? If so, it’s time to get rid of that slippery, unsightly moss once and for all. To do so, simply add a cup of Clorox bleach to a gallon of water and spray the mixture all over the moss. Soon, your garden will be moss-free!

Who knew that Clorox bleach was so versatile?! To learn even more about the above brilliant bleach hacks — and to unlock the other 3 handy bleach-based tutorials — be sure to watch the video below. It’s time to finally let the bleach do the hard work!"
