HELPFUL HINT: CAN'T FIND THE TWIST TIE TO SECURE THAT PACKAGE - HERE'S AN IDEA!

Dear Readers:

Have you ever spent time looking through the kitchen drawers looking for one of those twist tie thingies or a rubber band to secure that plastic bag.  Well, here is a way to recycle and secure that bag.  See the pictures below:

 

 Here I am using a milk carton that I have rinsed out.

 I've removed the pouring spout and cap, and then washed them.

 Place the item/food in a plastic bag and pull the bag through the plastic spout.

 Fold the plastic bag over the spout and take the cap and screw it down over the plastic covered spout.  

These can be reused often, they don't take up a lot of room in your kitchen drawer, and they're FREE.
