"Ghost Riders in the Sky" sung by Vaughn Monroe

"Ghost Riders in the Sky" was written by Stan Jones in 1948, based on his experience when he rode his horse out on the plains one day as a storm blew up with clouds ...
This was written 3 years after I was born, and I remember hearing it when I was about 5 years old.  I could just close my eyes and see the picture that was being painted by the words.  It has always been one of my most favorite songs, particularly the one sung by Vaughn Monroe.  Yes, I know that Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, and Frankie Lane also did recordings of this song, but to me, Vaughn Monroe's voice has the more "haunting" quality.
